Dear Valued Customers, Suppliers and Clients,
We are writing to inform you of an important change regarding Bradford Retaining products taking effect 1st July 2025.
After careful consideration and in alignment with our ongoing safety & sustainability goals, we have made the strategic decision to transition from producing and supplying concrete posts to exclusively offering 100UC galvanised steel posts.
Why this change?
1. Safety Considerations:
Concrete posts, due to their significant weight, present various safety concerns during manufacture, handling and installation. By shifting to steel posts, we are mitigating these risks and enhancing overall safety for our installation teams, workers, customers and clients. Steel posts are not only lighter but also easier to handle, ensuring a smoother and safer installation process.
2. Sustainability Goals:
As part of our commitment to a more sustainable future, we are focused on reducing our environmental footprint. Steel is a highly recyclable material, and by opting for steel posts, we can contribute to minimising waste and energy consumption in the production process. This shift supports our aims to reduce the environmental impact of our operations.
3. Strength and Durability:
Steel posts offer superior strength, resilience, and longevity when compared to concrete alternatives. Their robust performance ensures that your installations will withstand the test of time, offering enhanced reliability and reduced maintenance costs over the years.
4. New and Improved look:
Steel offers a much slimmer, more refined profile compared to the bulky appearance of concrete, resulting in a cleaner and more contemporary design.
We believe this move will benefit both our valued partners and the environment, whilst also making safer for installation and we are excited to continue serving you with these improved products. We remain committed to providing the highest quality materials and services and will ensure a seamless transition as we phase out concrete posts.
